Are generated names checked for availability?
No. The tool creates name ideas only and does not check whether a name is available on any platform. Search your target platform before you commit, especially for short or common names.
Where are my favorites saved?
Favorites are stored only in localStorage on your device. They never leave your browser and are cleared if you clear browser data or use the Clear favorites action.
What names does the generator avoid?
The word banks and filter list exclude hateful, sexual, impersonation-oriented, and ambiguous fragments. If you see a problematic suggestion, use the contact page to report it.
Can I use generated names anywhere?
Generated names are suggestions, not guarantees. You are responsible for checking platform rules, trademark concerns, and availability before using a name.
Does the site collect my keywords?
No. Keyword text and generated results stay in your browser. The site has no accounts, no analytics that reads input, and no server-side storage.
How does the name generator work?
The generator combines your business keyword with curated industry stems, tone presets, and naming patterns. Every result includes a style label, a rationale, a phonetic hint, and a domain search link so you can evaluate the direction rather than treat it as a final answer.
Does the generator check trademark or domain availability?
No. The generator is a naming tool, not a legal search. Domain links open a registrar search, and trademark clearance is your responsibility through official sources such as the USPTO or WIPO.
Why do some words never appear in results?
The dataset blocks generic legal, financial, and guarantee words such as official, guaranteed, and secure. Blocking those terms keeps the generator from producing names that imply a claim the tool cannot verify.
Where is my shortlist stored?
The shortlist is saved in your browser local storage on this device. It is not sent to a server. Use the Clear list button to remove all saved names, or use Export to copy the list to your clipboard.
Can I use a name that another company already uses?
Maybe, depending on the market, geography, and trademark class, but you should verify through official registries before relying on it. The generator provides directions, not a clearance opinion.
How often are the naming presets updated?
Industry records, style definitions, and guides include a reviewed date. The current editorial review was completed on August 10, 2026, and the dataset is reviewed on a rolling schedule.
